Road races are going to be the bulk of what the adults will be racing, but do you understand what you really need? I will show you a variety of what racing shoes that you may need for the appropriate race. For the road there really is only two answers to the problem. one: you can wear a lighter trainer that can slow you down with too much weight and too much cushion for the condition. Two: pick up a Racing flat that cuts down on the weight but still giving enough bounce to keep you going. The key is just finding the balance between the two. So lets begin with some options that you have. it is quite obvious if your going to run something like a ultra marathon your going to want a light trainer or just a medium weight trainer just due to pounding, but I'm not even going there. I'm just talking specially just up to a marathon and anything under that distance. let start heavy and move to the lighter shoes, but just note for the younger lighter guys that can handle a little more pounding these heavier shows you may be able to do with out even on a full marathon. So back to the shoes, lets start with the class which we can call the heavy weights and here is a sample of shoes to get the job done.
